...isn't in how many fuckups you make, or how big your fuckups are; it is entirely in how you respond when you fuck up.
Everybody fucks up... basically all the time. I fuck up several times a day, and I'm sure you do to. No matter how hard you try, you can't completely eliminate fucking up from your life. How you respond to those fuckups is what makes you who you are.
There are two, and only two, ways to respond to fucking up:
- Admit the fuckup (at least to yourself)
- Figure out HOW you fucked up
- Figure out WHY you fucked up
- Fix the fuckup
- Don't fuck up like that again
- Admit the fuckup (at least to yourself)
- Everything else.
If you do anything else, you are.
