Fifty Years of Shouting, Smoking, Smirking Evil

January 6th 1959, the forces of Movimiento 26 de Julio (the movement of the 26th of July), having chased the (slightly less evil, but even more corrupt) government of Fulgencio Batista out four days prior; officially declared they had taken all of Cuba, and had established a revolutionary government with Fidel Castro at its head.

They wasted no time in establish a reign of terror, as communist dictatorships have done in every case, everywhere they have raised their malignant heads.

Cuba has now lived under this oppressive, evil regime for fifty years. The only hope is that once Fidel and his brother Raul die, the ensuing chaos will allow capitalist, democratic rule to be re-established.

It's a slim hope, but freedom has a way of winning out eventually.
