NoR Spring Rally and meetup for my birthday

So my birthday is in 2 weeks (a week from Thursday actually), and starting Friday the 28th will be the NoR 2006 spring meetup.

The following is the summary of planned events from the event coordinator Dana Dore (thank you for doing this when I couldnt Dana):

Basic Schedule of Events
Subject to change without notice

Friday Night

Chris’ Birthday
Meet and Greet.

Wear your NoR Shirt. If you don’t have one, there are some left in S, M, and L at the link or thoseshirts.com/nor.html. The “big Boy sizes are all gone.

7:00 PM MST at the Buffalo Chip Saloon and Steakhouse, 6811 E. Cave Creek Rd, Cave Creek, AZ 85331

Directions to the Buffalo Chip Saloon and Steakhouse are available at the website.

Buffet style eats, see menu below. Cost will be $9.95 plus tax and gratuity; beverages are not included in the price.

Saturday

Shoot til lunch

The Range opens at 7:00 AM MST. I need volunteers to capture some shooting lanes first thing in the morning. This is a public range and shooting stations are first come, first served.

I have not programmed anything specific for lunch. We can work that out at the time. Or send someone for Togo’s, Subway or Quizno’s sandwiches.

Shoot some more after lunch

Meet at 7:30 PM MST at the Buffalo Chip Saloon and Steakhouse for Dinner and Guest Speaker, Alan Korwin who is confirmed, and then have some libations and tell lies. The meal is shown on the Menu below. Cost is $19.95 per person plus tax and gratuity. Beverages are not included.

Sunday

Shoot til lunch
Maybe a picnic at Pioneer Village. I have not had an opportunity to do anything with this one. Anyone else care to follow up?
Shoot some more.
Go home tired and happy.

So if you're going to be in or around AZ next weekend, y'all better be there. If not, why the hell not?

A note: In case y'all didn't know; MST is the same as pacific daylight. Arizona doesn't observe DST.

Oh and yes, we know, they scheduled boomershoot the same weekend. We had our shindig scheduled for a few months, then Joe scheduled boomershoot (which pretty much had to be that weekend so I hold no grudge); and we lost a BUNCH of folks who were going to come. So if you're at boomershot, you get a pass, but otherwise get your butts out here and have some fun with the NoR crew

Oh and on a sad note, due to an unfortunately reasonable fear of liability, this will be the last "official" Nation of Riflemen meetup type event.

Lawyers. Can't live with them, can't kill them faster than they breed.
